Hello, and welcome! I’m Ashly — a mother, tiny tots coach, caregiver, and the heart behind Cozy Bear Family Services in Grand Junction, Colorado.

This business was born out of deep care, hard-earned wisdom, and a defining moment in my life: in 2022, I lost my home and beloved dog in a house fire. That experience changed everything. It reminded me how precious time, connection, and safety truly are. Since then, I’ve chosen to live with intention — prioritizing presence over perfection, and creating a life rooted in purpose, not pressure.

With experience in early childhood education, I have worked as a Teacher’s Aide for a licensed childcare center right here in Grand Junction. My caregiving philosophy is rooted in responsive, play-based learning, and connection. In our licensed-exempt in-home care, I maintain low ratios so every child is seen, heard, and engaged. While our space is cozy and nurturing, it’s also full of noisy toys, giggles, and daily wonder.

But Cozy Bear is more than just childcare — it’s a trusted helping hand for busy families. I know what it’s like to juggle parenthood, aging loved ones, and everything in between. That’s why I also offer support services like housekeeping, senior companionship, errand running, pet care, and house sitting. My goal is simple: to bring comfort, calm, and consistency to your life — no matter the need.
